Fall Shakespeare Production: Hamlet!
begins september 10th, 2020
Over the course of this production of Shakespeare’s tragedy Hamlet, students will gain the ability to analyze Shakespeare’s great works in depth; they will learn acting techniques and gain confidence, learn about film and the making of it, and ultimately they will even make their own movie of scenes from Shakespeare’s great works by participating in all the elements of the movie-making process!
Other Exciting Notes: The students will be introduced to the historical and literary aspects of Shakespeare’s works while analyzing scenes and characters through the art of acting. Thus, they will uncover truths about human nature in an active and exciting way. The students themselves will bring these characters to life through costume and performance, and these scenes will then be filmed and made into a movie, which will then be shown to friends and family after the camp!
