FAITH & FILM
Through the art of filmmaking, students will explore and examine the elements of truth, goodness, and beauty as well as the Christian values of faith, family, and virtue through the lens of various historical films. Students will also learn about the art of cinematography and visual storytelling as tool for promoting such values.
ETHICS
Courses familiarize the student with topics including the difference between philosophy and theology, the various branches of philosophy, the nature of the human person, the relation between conduct and character, goodness as rooted in being, the meaning and formation of conscience, ultimate sources of human happiness, motivations to good and evil, the virtues and sin, moral determinants of a human act or omission, and a final discussion of the topic of abortion.
