SCIENCE

Karen has been a serial entrepreneur for over 34 years. She owned and operated four salons, a cosmetology school, and three fitness centers. In 2014, Karen felt called to start Catholic Classical Academies. Karen downsized her businesses and began to work on what the Lord was calling her to do, “bring the children to Him!” Karen began working with local homeschooling families, leaders within the Archdiocese of Hartford Office of Catholic Schools, Angelicum Academy, and Holy Apostles College. Karen went on start two academies, one in 2015, and the other in 2019. Karen brings her skills of development and authentic Catholic teaching to Queen of the Apostles Preparatory Academy where her love of the Catholic Faith and her passion for developing new platforms in bringing people together combine. Karen is a student at Holy Apostles College seeking a Bachelors Degree in Theology with a minor in Sacred Art. Her love of our Lady has brought her too many special places such as Medugorje, Fatima, Guadalupe, and many shrines throughout the United States. Karen’s second greatest love are the children! She believes that every single child deserves to know God, to have a top quality education, and to have opportunities that help them achieve any dream that they want to achieve.
